PETER AMBROSIUSSEN

Partner

Peter Ambrosiussen is Limited Authorised Representative 1249691 of Merit Wealth Pty Ltd, Australian Financial Services Licence 409361, ABN 89 125 557 002.

Originally from Sydney, Peter started his business in 1985. Prior to this Peter was the Group CFO and

Company Secretary for the international shipping group Wilh Wilhemsen. In 1988, Peter relocated to Toowoomba and expanded the client base in the Darling Downs.

As an accountant for over 40 years, Peter has been the driving force behind the business as it has

continued to develop and adapt to clients needs. He places a high value on having a great team culture.

With a Bachelor of Arts (Economics and History) and a Master of Commerce (Accounting), Peter is a Certified Practising Accountant and Registered Tax Agent. Peter is licenced to advise on Self-Managed Super Funds and an accredited mentor with MBCI (Mentors and Business Coaches International).

Peter is married to Vivienne and has seven children, (4 girls and 3 boys) and 8 grandchildren (also 4 girls and 4 boys). Peter loves to ride his mountain bike on the dirt tracks north of Toowoomba. He and Vivienne love going to West End and enjoy riding around the river, the cafes, plays at QPAC and a visit to Bent Books and Avid Reader.

SAM WRIGHT

Partner

Sam started at Ambrosiussen The Business Accountants in May 2007 working his way up from

completing work experience to now proudly being a partner in the practice. Working at Ambrosiussens has provided him with an avenue to make a real impact on the lives of family businesses and not-for-profits.

Sam has completed the CPA program, holds a CPA Public Practice Certificate, is a registered Tax Agent, and has completed a dual Bachelor Degree of Business and Commerce, majoring in Accounting, Finance, and Human Resource Management, graduating with distinction. At present, he is partway through a Masters of Business Administration, with a bucket list goal of completing a PhD in the field of small business.

Sam is committed to the strengthening and development of small business by improving the lifestyle of clients, not just the bottom line.

Sam enjoys networking immensely and volunteering his time in community organisations like the Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce, where he is currently a Board member. On a personal level, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, playing a round of golf, and supporting the Brisbane Broncos.

TANIA COLLIE

Partner

Tania joined the Ambrosiussen team in March of 2016 and recently became a partner in the practice. She completed her Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Accounting and Finance at USQ Toowoomba. Following completion of her studies she returned home to Roma to work in a public accounting firm for 7 years. From there she went on to running a family earthmoving business in Condamine. In 2015 she decided to move to Toowoomba for her children’s schooling and go back into accounting where her passion lies. Tania has completed her CPA.

Tania definitely gets a buzz out of helping small business owners achieve their personal and business goals and aspirations.

When she is not working she is spending time with her four children and husband, with most of that time spent on the sideline of a rugby league game. She enjoys spending her downtime in the garden.
